A recent development of our business has seen us maximising the use of the shop's prime selling area, by considerably enlarging our range of products. Our range now includes:

• greetings cards
• pictures & prints
• Mediterranean pottery

Greetings Cards
We have stocked greetings cards for many years, and Alison takes a lot of care in choosing ranges of cards (mainly blank although we do have some 'occasion' cards) that are different from those on sale elsewhere in town.

One of our most consistently popular ranges is by Russian artists. They are blank cards, the subject matter is fairly traditional but it is the whimsical style of so many of the images that appeals.

Simon Drew cards seem to have enduring appeal to those of all ages with a sense of humour. We have stocked Simon's cards for some years and have now started selling other merchandise from his range.

Woodmansterne cards are well known, we stock some of their range, generally trying to keep a choice of the Quentin Blake images.

Art Group - such a vast range but we do stock a limited number of their wonderful, unusual cards.

Many other cards, a lot from smaller producers and artists, some of local interest others that are just quality with general appeal. The governing factors are always quality, being different from other shops in town and not containing verse inside.

Pictures and prints

These have always been an integral part of the business and remain so.

We specialise in stocking a range of local views.

Mediterranean Pottery
A very colourful selection of decorated flower pots
from Italy and - from Portugal - mugs; small dishes;
bowls and spoon rests - all decorated with sunflowers,
fruits and fishes, in brilliant primary colours.
